Privacy Policy

The short version: we don't run servers, we don't have accounts, and we don't hold your personal information. The data described below is collected by Google's advertising and crash-reporting services inside the apps.

This policy covers Puzzle Parlor, Jigsaw Parlor, and any other app published by Pacific Northwest Mobile Games on Google Play.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing. The apps have no sign-in, no user accounts, and no back-end service we operate. Your puzzle progress, settings, and premium unlock status are stored on your device only. We cannot see them, and they are not uploaded anywhere.

What third-party services collect

The apps use Google AdMob to show advertising and Google Play services for purchases and stability reporting. Through those services, the following may be collected and shared with Google:

  • Device or other identifiers — including your Android advertising ID, used to select and measure ads.
  • Approximate location — derived from your IP address by the ad service. Not precise GPS location.
  • App interactions — such as ads viewed or screens opened, used for analytics and ad measurement.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics — technical information sent when the app crashes or misbehaves.

This data is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. It is handled under Google's own privacy terms: see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Purchases

Premium unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play. Payment details are handled by Google — we never see or store your card number, billing address, or any other payment information. We receive only an anonymous confirmation that the purchase completed.

How your data is handled and protected

Data sent by the advertising and crash-reporting services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

Because we operate no servers and hold no user accounts, there is no database of user information on our side to breach. Data stored on your device stays in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps.

Access to the developer accounts that receive aggregate reporting from Google Play and AdMob is limited to the sole owner of the business and protected by two-step verification. Those reports contain totals and trends, not information identifying individual players.

Data retention and deletion

Data held on your device is retained until you delete it. Uninstalling an app removes all of its locally stored data, including puzzle progress and settings.

To reset or delete your advertising identifier, open Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Deleting it stops personalized advertising. Buying premium unlock disables ads entirely, after which the advertising ID is no longer used for ad selection in that app.

Data held by Google under its own services is retained according to Google's policies. Requests about that data should be directed to Google using the links above; write to us and we will help where we can.

Children

These apps are rated for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. We hold no personal data ourselves. For data collected by Google's advertising services, use Google's privacy controls linked above, or contact us and we will assist.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a future release adds analytics, cloud saves, or accounts, this page is updated before that release ships.
